November

We have had a pretty uneventful month. I think we have been sick most of the month. We put our house up for sale and have had a few showings this weekend. As soon as we get a contract on our house we will start building our new home in West Haven. We are really excited hopefully we get an offer soon. The four of us stayed home this Thanksgiving and did a dinner with just us. I know our family's were probably sad, but the four of us really needed some quality time this weekend. Kenny has a pretty hairy semester coming up starting in January. He is going to have class Mon-Thur nights, but then after that he will have one online class left and then he will D-O-N-E!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am that there is actually a light at the end of the tunnel! It has been a very long process and I am so proud of him! He is probably going to do the MBA program after, but it is still up in the air at this point. We want him to be done while our kids are still young and won't remember, but he is getting burned out on school. I am happy and anxious for the next few months. I know it will be stressful but we can do anything together.

Halloween

I didn't get very many pictures for Halloween this year. The kids were not cooperating very well. I had wanted to get one of the four of us,but it did not pan out. We are nerdy and did a Star Wars theme this year. Kenny was Obi Wan Kenobi, I was Princes Leia, little Kenny was Darth Vader, and Greyson was Yoda. This is probably the last year little Kenny will let me pick his costume for him, so I might as well have my fun...right? On Halloween we went to two of the Grandma's to trick or treat and then Kenny and little Kenny trick or treated a little bit around the neighborhood while Greyson and I passed out candy. When they got home we ate homemade stew and cornbread and watched Star Wars in our costumes....super dorky I know. It was a perfect night!

Kenny is 3!

Here is little Kenny the morning of his birthday when he came down and saw his presents.
Big boys need their own Utes hoodie!
At the South Weber Fire Station later that morning.

Little Kenny turned 3 on October 22. I can't believe he is that old. The morning of his birthday he woke up and opened his presents from us. He got an easel , a Utes hoodie, and a ton of art supplies. He had been so excited for his birthday and that was all he talked about for weeks leading up to it. After breakfast we went to  visit his uncle Travis who is a firefighter for South Weber at the fire station. He gave little Kenny a hat, gave us a tour, let the boys climb around the trucks, and even turned light and sirens on. It was so much fun. After wards Greyson went to Grandmas to be babysat and we took little Kenny to lunch at Red Robin. I think it was one of his first times going to a sit down restaurant(besides fast food). Then the four of us then just played and hung out the rest of the day. The following Saturday(October 24th) he had a pirate birthday party. We had friends and family come over for cake and ice cream, homemade root beer, and a treasure hunt for the kids. Most everyone dressed up as a pirate. At his 3 year old check up he weighed 31 lbs(50th%) and was 39 in tall(70%). He is into toy story, dinosaurs, potato heads, and cars. He loves going to his grandparents, the library, playing outside, and going to nursery. He loves to eat tacos, spaghetti, and anything sweet! he has the spunkiest sense of humor and is too smart for his own good. I can't believe he is getting so big! We love this little guy so much!

Curious Greyson

I am helping mom!
Baby Jail!
Yes, that is a pickle!
I love this little boy so much! He is a very sweet loving boy. He is into everything and climbs on top of everything. He is such a joy to have in our family, I cant believe he is going to be one next month!
